Who Are We

 

SOWCoders is a 501(c)3 non profit organization that battles gender based digital inequality in low/middle income countries and at-risk communities by providing extensive digital literacy and coding training, refurbished infrastructure and culture specific support to young girls.

We work and consult with Corporations as well as civic organizations to help them engage with the communities they serve on a grassroots level.

What We Do

We offer multiple targeted+customized workshops to girls around the world.

We work with Corporations to help engage employees as Mentors to our young girls. This leaves a lasting impact in the lives of our students and gives employees a fulfilling volunteer experience!

We are able to offer our digital trainings to girls with CSR support and donations from Corporate Sponsors and Partners.

Afghanistan 2023

"I am Madina Afshar from Afghanistan. I am 16 years old. I first participated in  Coding Without Borders SOWCoders online camp in summer 2020. I came up with the idea to build a website for promoting tourism industry in Afghanistan. Throughout my project, I conveyed to the people all over the world that Afghanistan has the potential to be one of the best tourism centers in the world"
